Brambly Wood nestles in a beautiful part of Dartmoor National Park.  We offer comfortable accommodation in our self-contained annexe for a  single group of up to three people, and delicious breakfasts.  There are several good restaurants within walking distance for your evening meal, ranging from fine dining to country pub fare.

Lindsay and Laurie Davidson have lived at Brambly Wood for 37 years and are very happy to recommend walks, activities, excursions and places to eat. We have tried to create a welcoming and relaxing refuge from the stresses of everyday life.

The private two-bedroom annexe is ideal for couples or three people staying together.   Each room is comfortably furnished and includes a flatscreen freeview TV and DVD player, hostess tray and hairdrier.  You will find a vase of fresh garden flowers in every room.

Breakfast is served from ceramic crockery made in our own pottery.  The triple aspect conservatory overlooks the gardens and enjoys the morning sunshine. We offer a full range of breakfast choices including full English,  smoked haddock, cereals, home-made muesli, yoghurts,  fruit and home-made  orange marmalade.  Our free-range eggs are sourced from just half a mile down the lane.  We hope to be able to accommodate any special requirements.  We have a top Food Hygiene Rating of 5.

There is a selection of DVDs, books and maps about the area, local tourist information and novels which you are welcome to use during your stay (free of charge).

Brambly Wood is down a quiet lane where you will only be woken by silence, birdsong or the smell of cooking breakfast.
